Location 
The Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City, 2799 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, VA,  22202, USA. The hotel is one mile from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, minutes from Alexandria, VA, downtown Washington, D.C. and Georgetown. Registration
The registration fee is $245 per person and includes coffee breaks, lunches (Wednesday and Thursday), small reception on Wednesday evening, and conference materials. In order for your name to appear on the preliminary participant's list, registration must be received by Wednesday, January 30, 2002. Request for cancellation and refund must be received by Wednesday, January 30, 2002. The conference is open to Biometric Consortium members and the general public. Accommodations 
The Conference registration does not include your hotel reservation. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City, (703) 418 1234. The special room rate is $119, plus 9.75% tax, for a single occupancy and $144 , plus 9.75%  tax, for double occupancy. To register for a room, please contact the hotel directly by phone and mention that you are attending the "Biometric Consortium Conference" no later than Tuesday, January 22, 2002. Requests received after January 22 will be filled on a space and rate availability basis up to the Group block. Although the room block has been released, you may still get the room rate if you call the hotel inmediately. Guaranteed late arrival deposits are suggested for check-in after 4 p.m. Reservations must be cancelled by 4 pm the day prior to arrival to avoid a full night’s room and tax charge.
