Location
The
Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City, 2799
Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, VA,
22202, USA. The hotel is one mile from Ronald Reagan
Washington National Airport, minutes from Alexandria, VA, downtown

This is the same site as the Consortium's February 2002
conference which sold out with over 825 attendees registered and
exhibits from 57 organizations.
Registration
The conference is open to Biometric Consortium members and
the general public.
The Conference registration fee is $260 per person and includes
coffee breaks, lunches (Monday and Tuesday), and small reception on
Monday evening, and conference materials. Requests for
cancellation and refund must be sent to the Registration Contact
by Monday, September 9,
2002.

On-site
registration will be available from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (EDT)
Sunday 22 September 2002. Registration will resume at 7:30
AM on Monday 23 September 2002 and will continue during conference
hours.
Accommodations
The Conference
registration does not include your hotel reservation. A block of
rooms has been reserved at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City, (703)
418-1234. The special room rate is the prevailing Government
rate (extended to all the attendees) of $150, plus 9.75%
tax, for a single occupancy and $175 , plus 9.75%
tax, for double occupancy. To register for a room, please
contact the hotel directly by phone and mention that you are
attending the "Biometric Consortium Conference (BC2002)"
no later than Thursday, September 5, 2002.
Requests received
after September 5, 2002 will be filled on a space and rate
availability basis up to the Group block. Guaranteed
late arrival deposits are suggested for check-in after 4 pm.
Reservations must be cancelled by 4 pm the day prior to arrival to
avoid a full night’s room and tax charge.
The
hotel was booked during the February 2002 conference -
please reserve your hotel room as soon as possible.
