Goals
|
The goals of the IT performance measurement project include:
- To define measures of IT performance and to determine
their statistical characteristics
- To construct efficient experimental designs for real and
simulated studies of behavior of IT processes (algorithms,
search engines, software, networks, etc.)
- To develop statistically interpretable measures of
database quality
- To construct models to assess importance of factors
in performance
- To provide a statistical basis for IT standards
