The following is a list of web based products provided by the Statistical Engineering Division.

  • NIST/SEMATECH e-Handbook of Statistical Methods

  • Statistical Reference Datasets (StRD)

  • Test Suite for Random Numbers (joint project with Computer Security Division)

  • Extreme Winds - the extreme winds web site provides an overview of joint work with the Building and Fire Research Laboratory in the area of extreme winds and the effect of winds on building structures. You can download a number of wind-related datasets. You can also download several custom Fortran programs and several MATLAB programs for analyzing extreme winds and the effect of winds on building structures.

  • e-FITS - a web-based tool for generating graphs, tables, and random numbers for 50+ univariate distributions and for fitting data to these distributions.

    Note: This site is currently restricted to NIST staff.
