INTERARRIVAL TIME

Purpose:
Compute the interarrival times for a set of failure
times.
Description:
The interarrival times, T, for a set of N failure
times X are computed by sorting the data, setting
T(1) = X(1), and the setting T(I) = X(I)  X(I1)
for I = 2 through N.
Syntax:
LET <resp> = INTERARRIVAL TIME <x1>
<SUBSET/EXCEPT/FOR qualification>
where <x1> is the variable for which the
interarrival times are to be computed;
<resp> is a variable where the
interarrival times are saved;
and where the <SUBSET/EXCEPT/FOR qualification>
is optional.
