2003 Evaluation (ACE03)

The NIST series of evaluations of information extraction technology continues in the early fall of 2003 for ACE and TIDES participants and all other researchers that find the task of interest.

For this ACE evaluation the scope of the data will be expanded to include text from two new languages in addition to English. The research objectives are to continue the task of EDT and RDC.

The tasks and languages for the 2003 evaluation include:

English
- EDT & RDC
Chinese
- EDT & RDC
Arabic
- EDT

Update: August 20th 2003:

The evaluation plan is now posted. It currently says "Draft" in the title, but may be considered official, it is simply pending some final reviews.

Evaluation documentation will be posted as it becomes available.

The evaluation schedule contains the registration form.
