Friday, August 04, 2006:

Group 1 and Group 6 have been completed. Analysis is underway of the results and initial results indicate a large difference in the quality of different products. It will take some time to determine whether these differences are due to the sensitivity of the dye to changes in temperature and/or relative humedity or just differences in the stability of the dye. Group 3 is completely aged and is currently being tested. Final again periods of the other groups is underway.

Tuesday, May 03, 2006:

Group 2 media has been completely tested after the second aging period. Group 1 media has been completely tested after the thrid aging period. Group 3 discs are being tested after the third aging period. Once complete, testing will begin on Group 6 following its third aging period. The third aging for Group 5 is complete. Group 4 discs are being aged for the third time in the environmental chamberand will finish on May 6th, 2006.

Wednesday, April 19, 2006:

Testing on discs in Group 4 has been completed after the second aging period. Group 3 discs are currently being tested, Group 6 media has been aged for the third time. The Group 5 discs are currently being aged in the environmental chamber, and will be complete on April 23.

On April 3, the DVD-R/RW tester stopped function and was sent to Audiodev for repair. Repair and reinstallation was completed on April 17, resulting in a delay of the schedule. Click here for a detailed exel progress and time plan chart at this time.

Monday, March 27, 2006:

Discs in Group 5 are completely tested after the second aging period, Group 4 discs are being tested, and Group 1 third aging is complete. Currently Group 6 discs are being aged in the environmental chamber and will be complete on April 7. Click here for a detailed exel progress and time plan chart at this time.

Monday, March 6, 2006:

Group 1 and Group 6 discs third round testing is complete. Groups 2, 3, and 4 secound round aging is complete. Click here for a detailed exel progress and time plan chart at this time. Due to maintenance operations, an outage will take place on Thursday March 9, 2006 beginning at 5:00 AM until 7:00 AM, and all electrical equipment will be required to be turned off during the outage period. Aging of group 1 will begin after this maintenance operation is comlpete.

Tuesday, February 3, 2006:

Group 5 has completed its second round of incubation. Group 4 is being aged. now the Group 3 is being tested. Click here for a detailed exel progress and time plan chart at this time.

Tuesday, January 17, 2006:

Group 6 has completed its second round of incubation. Group 5 is ready to be aged in the chamber. Testing is underway in Group 4.

Tuesday, January 3, 2006:

The first aging period is now complete for all groups. The second testing cycle is complete for groups 1, 2 and 6 and is currently underway in group 5. Second cycle testing will begin on groups 3 and 4 when group 5 is complete. On Thursday, January 5th, group 6 will begin its second aging period in the environmental chamber. Friday, November 25, 2005:

Aging for Group 3 completed. Testing will begin as soon as tester is available. Usual residue on aged media which will need to be cleaned off using a compressed gas duster and lint-free towels, if they are required. Click here for a detailed exel progress and time plan chart at this time.

Tuesday, November 22, 2005:

Groups 1, 2, 3 and 6 have all their media recorded. Recording for Group 5 is 50% complete and recording for Group 4 will begin following completion of Group 5. Initial testing is completed for Groups 1, 2, 3 and 6. Initial testing for Group 5 is about 25% and ongoing. Two rounds of aging and testing have been completed for Group 1, while one round of aging and testing is complete for Groups 2 and 6. Aging is underway for Group 3. Aging will begin for Group 5 once recording and initial testing is complete.
