Summer 2002 Evaluation (ACE Phase 2b 2002)
The NIST series of ACE evaluations continues in the late summer of 2002.
The research objectives remain as they were in earlier evaluations in
that the tasks are viewed as the detection and characterization of Entities,
Relations, and Events. As in phase 2, there will be an EDT and cross document (XDIT) evaluation.
The XDIT evaluation will again have a database-centric and corpus-based
component. There will also be a RDC evaluation.
