Introduction

The 2nd Annual Workshop on 2D and 3D Content Representation, Analysis and Retrieval is being organized with the goal of bringing the various scientific research communities together to present their recent research on Image processing, image analysis, shape analysis, indexing, data mining, metadata, ontology, interoperability tools, benchmarks and evaluation methodologies.

At the end of the workshop there will be a panel discussion with particular emphasis to benchmarks and ground truth, reference image datasets, evaluation methodologies, and interoperability tools.

Workshop Format

This will be the second workshop in the series hosted by NIST. The workshop will be a two-day event consisting of invited talks from established researchers in the field. The workshop format will emphasize discussions rather than being only a presentation meeting The workshop will include keynote speakers and a panel discussion, to stimulate the development of recommendations. The workshop is supported by the SIMA program, the IDUS program, CSTL and ITL at NIST
