In order to facilitate understanding of the TDT system development requirements, the evaluation relies on the TDT Evaluation Plan to describe in detail the five evaluation tasks, the data supplied to the system, and the expected system output.

Currently, the only planned differences between the 2003 and 2002 Evaluation plan are the restricted use of the TDT4 Corpus.

The evaluation plan is an evolving document. Since it changes frequently, the table below contains pointers to previous versions and Microsoft-generated comparisons which highlights the changes between versions.
