Education and Training: Request for Courses
|
Requests by NIST Staff
|
Requests for courses that SED should teach should be directed
to Stefan Leigh.
Requests can be categorized in the following ways.
- You would like to take one of the regular SED
courses. First, check the current
schedule of courses to
see if it will be taught in the near future. If not,
send the request to Stefan. If there is sufficient
demand, SED might be able to schedule the class
sooner than intended.
- If you would like SED to teach a class that is not
part of the regular schedule, contact Stefan Leigh.
SED will consider these requests on a case by case
basis. Whether or not the course is actually given
will depend on the anticipated demand and the
availability of appropriate SED staff.
- In a similar vein, if a division or lab has the
need for a specific, customized course, contact
Stefan. SED will consider these requests on a case by
case basis. Whether or not the course is actually given
will depend on the anticipated demand and the
availability of appropriate SED staff.

Courses for Non-NIST Staff
|
If you are interested in having SED give a course for a
non-NIST audience and site, contact Stefan Leigh. These
requests will be considered on a case by case basis.
At this time, consideration will be restricted to courses
that are part of the regular SED series of courses. SED does
not currently have the resources for developing custom
courses for non-NIST sites.
