This is the Dataplot data file FULLODR2.DAT
This is the data set from page 244 of Wayne Fuller's
book "Measurement Error Models", John Wiley, 1987.
This is one of the data sets used in the version 2.01 ODRPACK manual.
We have included it here to calibrate the Dataplot implementation
of the ODRPACK package. Data are observations digitized from the
x-ray image of a hip prosthesis. The variable X(i) = (v(i),h(i))
are the the vertical and horizontal distances from the orgin.
The proposed model is:
B3*(V - B1)**2 + 2*B4*(V-B1)*(H-B2) + B5*(H-B2)**2 = 0
Note that this is an implicit model.
