The talks listed below were given in a special contributed session at the 1997 Joint Statistical Meetings held in Anaheim, CA from August 10 through August 14.

The four formal talks in the session were prepared jointly by the StRD project team. James Gentle, from the statistics program at George Mason University, followed the talks with discussion of statistical software evaluation and the NIST StRD project.
